Raising Community Impact Leaders

Every child in every community has the opportunity to make an impact

Our Impact

Team Landolph empowers teachers and students with the skills, networks, and resources to create a positive, lasting impact in their local community. Our Community Impact Teams expand teacher’s ability to connect, inspire, and empower the next generation, educating them how to view problems as possibilities and work collaboratively to create sustainable solutions by rallying the community around visionary teacher and student-led projects.

A huge thank you to District 5 Foundation, St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, Bolands Ace Hardware, Fidelis Family Retreat, Chapin Garden Club, Fields of Eden Farm, Kalberer Construction, Chapin Jr. Women’s Club, and community volunteers for making this visionary project a reality.

In response to the unique set of challenges that Veteran families face students collaborated with Amanda Mohr from Fidelis Family Retreat to launch the Unsung Heroes Club. This club provides pressing solutions to ways to support Veteran children and families in our local community.

We support educational opportunities centered on wellness that level up current curriculum and projects by building connections with expert community members to teach students about healthy choices for themselves, their community and the environment. Opportunities include hands-on engagements that provide the space for students to learn about and apply healthy habits the impact themselves and others.

Teresa Randolph/Team Landolph received the Outstanding Volunteer Group Award in the elementary school category for her service to Chapin Elementary School. Randolph has been instrumental in teaching the Chapin Elementary teacher and student leaders the value of community outreach and philanthropy. She works diligently with the students in the Eaglets Making Impact Club to become youth philanthropists and solve real-world problems through community outreach.

Upon receiving recognition, Randolph said, “I am incredibly excited to receive this award because it is a testament and celebration of teams of people coming together for the greater good. It fuels us to continue to do even more to serve our students and their families. I am thankful that School District Five takes the time to celebrate and recognize volunteers because it shows the district cares deeply about the community and their partners.”
